Peanut is a ground hog who has been with us since we moved into our house in 2000. She loves peanuts and bread. Each spring she has a litter of children that also love the same foods. The summer of 2003 was the first summer that she allowed us to hand feed and touch both her and her children. She hibernates for the winter but we look forward to her return every spring.
Peanut passed away on May 2, 2007. Her legacy continues on with her babies. To read more visit Peanut's Story
