IRLP Node #2739

VA3DIS is owned and operated by the Amateur Radio of Dryden

The repeater is located at VA3DIK's QTH, about 1 mile north of the City of Dryden, Ontario, on his DMX-64' Delhi tower.

The antenna is a Decibel DB-224, four bay folded dipole array, fed by Andrew's 1/2" heliax.

The repeater equipment consists of a GE VHF Mastr II, 65 watt continuous duty ,  putting 50 watts to the antenna trough a Sinclair 5 Cavity Q-circuit duplexer.  2 cans on RX & 3 on TX for full isolation with no desense. The VHF receiver pre-amp is a stock GE UHS.  It is all ran by an S-Com 7K,  2 port controller. An Astron RM-35A-BB power supply powers the equipment, and trickle charges the 12v battery, for automatic backup switching when hydro is lost. The IRLP computer is connected directly to the second port of the controller linking the repeater. It usually connected to the 9002 Vancouver Reflector.
